OVERVIEW

Gate Rush: Last Convoy is a game for Android, published by Cold Boot Interactive. This policy explains what information the app handles.

The short version: Cold Boot Interactive does not collect anything about you. The game has no accounts, no sign-in and no purchases, and nothing in it sends information to us. Gate Rush: Last Convoy does show advertising supplied by Google AdMob, and Google collects some information from your device in order to serve those ads. That is explained below.

Cold Boot Interactive does not collect, store, sell, or receive any personal information about you. We operate no servers, and nothing in the game sends information to us.

INFORMATION COLLECTED BY GOOGLE ADMOB

Gate Rush: Last Convoy displays ads through Google AdMob. To select and measure those ads, Google collects information from your device. This typically includes:

  • your advertising identifier, a resettable identifier that your device provides for advertising purposes. On Android this is the Android Advertising ID.
  • your IP address, which indicates your approximate location
  • device information such as model, operating system version and language
  • which ads were shown to you, and whether you interacted with them

This information goes to Google and its advertising partners, not to us. We receive only anonymous, aggregated reports of how many ads were shown and what they earned. Those reports cannot identify you.

YOUR CHOICES ABOUT ADVERTISING

On Android

You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time from your device settings, usually under Settings, Privacy, Ads. Deleting it prevents apps from using it to personalise advertising.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Gate Rush: Last Convoy asks for your consent before serving personalised ads. You can change that choice at any time using the Privacy options button in the game's Settings. If you decline personalised ads you will still see ads, but they will be selected without using your information.

HOW ADS APPEAR IN THE GAME

  • A banner is shown at the top of the menus, the pause screen and the screen after a level. It is never shown while you are playing a level.
  • An optional video ad can be watched to spin the prize wheel for extra coins after a level, or to revive your squad after you lose. Watching it is always your choice, and skipping it never stops you from playing.

INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

So the game can remember things between sessions, Gate Rush: Last Convoy saves a small amount of information locally on your device:

  • your progress: the levels you have cleared and the stars you earned
  • your coins, upgrades and unlocked weapons
  • your settings, such as sound, vibration and graphics quality
  • a short record of game events, such as levels started and finished, kept only to help the game pace its ads and rewards
  • your advertising consent choice, where one applies

This stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

PERMISSIONS

Gate Rush: Last Convoy requests network access and the advertising ID permission, which exist solely so the advertising described above can work, and the vibration permission, which is used for touch feedback that you can switch off in Settings.

The game does not request access to your location, your camera, your microphone, your contacts, your photos or your files.

CHILDREN

Gate Rush: Last Convoy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through this app, contact us at the address below and we will act on it.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If what the app collects changes, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the "last updated" date above will change. We recommend checking this page when the app updates.
